The Dance Centre Peregian Springs is a recreational and vocational dance school located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We combine technical excellence with a passion to dance for students from toddler to adult. We offer daily classes in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical and acrobatics. There are opportunities for our students to compete both regionally and internationally, as well as audition for scholarships and awards. We are active in our community by showcasing our talented dancers at various venues - including St Mary's Aged Care - and our end-of-the year concert is the highlight for everyone.
Teaching takes place in a caring and nurturing environment, where respect, friendliness and equality of students is foremost. The emotional and physical health of all the participants is safeguarded by dedicated, experienced and highly competent staff.
Our dance school faculty is simply the best with excellent qualifications and unique experiences as former soloists, ballet company directors, choreographers and company trainers with over 25 years world-wide teaching experience in professional ballet companies, dance universities, vocational and recreational dance schools.
The Dance Centre annually enters students for their Royal Academy of Dance examinations and the majority of students from 6 – 16 years achieve distinctions.
Several of our students have received invites into the Australian Ballet Interstate Programme, the Australian Ballet School, the New Zealand School of Dance, the Queensland Ballet, the Royal Ballet School in the UK, and the Bolshoi Ballet School in Moscow.
